Seat Leon FR TDi (2005) Tow Bar Fitting
Page 1
Important Information: The following
is an account of how I fitted my tow bar to my car. I don't guarantee
that this is the correct way to fit the tow bar and as such if you follow
all or part of this, you do so at you own risk. I will not be held responsible
if anything nasty happens to you or others as a result of you following
all or any part of the following account. If you are unsure about any
point of the fitting, ask the advice of a professional, or part with some
cash and get somebody else to fit it. Remember, your tow bar may be different
to the one I fitted - Always fully read and understand the instructions
that come with your tow bar.
Take one Seat Leon, a socket set, a few other tools and get going. I put
the rear wheels on 2" planks to lift the back of the car up a little.
The tow bar is a Witter VW43C with their Quantum removable tow htich, part
number ZQ3012.
